The default intensity regulation is based on the time of the day. Additional savings are introduced by smarter intensity regulation. Adjustable intensity, based on traffic and environmental data, increases drivers' safety. It provides necessary intensity in case of higher traffic volume, incidents, bad weather, etc., while decreasing intensity when the maximum is not needed (i.e. late night, low traffic..)
