Telegra’s DRIPs improve traffic flow between “new and old” highway in Netherlands

In the region Liemers the recently installed Telegra’s DRIPs inform drivers on the provincial road Zevenaar - Arnhem (the old state highway) about the traffic situation on the northern section of A12 (the new highway). In the peak hours when for traffic jams are most likely to occur, traffic counters provide necessary information which is than displayed on the DRIPs. In this way drivers can decide which alternative to take and the final result of using DRIPs is improved traffic flow and avoidance of unnecessary traffic jams.

Centralized (National) Traffic Flow Supervision System

A Centralized (National) Highway Traffic Flow Supervision System, developed and implemented by Telegra in order to insure a high level of service, optimize traffic flow and rationalize traffic infrastructure maintenance and management, has been introduced
into daily praxis of Croatia’s Highway Operators.
